History

In 1985, Tayfun Kerim Filazi had established Teknik Galvano in 150m2 workplace numbered 6/4 which was located in 2. industry zone.  In 1997, the name of the company was changed in to T.K.F Metal Plating and today, 8 independent workplaces were unified in that area under a structure of its name. Tayfun Kerim Filazi is a founder of the company who is also a Chemical Engineer.  The company is still continues in its action with 30 personnel experienced in plating.

Today

We are proud of bringing the initials to İzmir.  In 1986, our company firstly put acidic zinc plating process in to the practice in İzmir.  We also achieved to electroplate the large Cr-Ni Stainless parts, and still one of our section is allocated for electroplating. For instance, bus station’s metal parts in İstanbul was produced from the Cr-Ni material, and by applying electroplating on their surface, we obtained to protect the lively and bright image for many years

Automotive industry is insistently demanding zinc-nickel alloy plating and in İzmir, we are the only one who can satisfy their needs.  Our coated materials can resist through the salt spray tests until 600 hours. (DIN 50021-55 standards) Again as another initial in İzmir, we can plate Chrome-Nickel on ABS parts of good quality according to the automotive industry’s request.   Their principle is, the plating should be endurable for the rock strikes and the potential difference of the double nickel should not go under the level of 145mV.  However, T.K.F Metal has this process which is needed.

The coating thicknesses of all types of our products are measured by X-Ray.  This machine helps us to determine the thicknesses of elements in the coatings such as the rates of Cu, Ni, and Cr on ABS.  We can also observe the homogenous distribution by measuring the different points of the parts, and also it displays the different rates of microns in details.  As a plating company, T.K.F Metal is the only one which is using for sensitive measurement.
